IN OUR MUSICAL RE-IMAGINING OF BRADBURY'S STORY, ALLY, A 13-YEAR OLD REFUGEE FROM THE WARS ON EARTH, ARRIVES WITH HER FAMILY ON MARS, AN EMPTY PLANET. WHEN SHE LEARNS THAT HER PARENTS HAVE NO INTENTION OF GOING BACK SHE SETS OFF ON AN ODYSSEY TO FIND A WAY HOME, BUT DISCOVERS INSTEAD THE SECRETS OF THE PLANET'S PAST, AS WELL AS HER OWN FUTURE IDENTITY.
